EXPERIENCE

Sonya McKinney, APN, FNP-C is a board-certified primary care family nurse practitioner who treats patients of all ages, focusing on family and general health issues including colds, physical exams, hypertension and diabetes.

Sonya received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Indiana in 2015 and has over 22 years of nursing experience.  Sonya has strong leadership, organization and communication skills and works to improve the health and quality of her patient’s lives through an active partnership in her their healthcare.

Family medicine is unique because every patient is different and has different needs.  Life is short and patients should be able to enjoy spending time with family and loved ones.
